WORK EXPERIENCE

Founder & Designer at PFD Studio [a design-build metal & wood fabrication shop]

2019 - Present

  • Design and fabricate a variety of metal projects i.e. stairs, railings, furniture, ornamentation, signs, etc

  • Work with clients to design and create projects that fit the context of the physical space while working within the client's design aesthetic 

  • Taking a project from the theoretical realm to the field and all the problem-solving and adaptation that comes along with that transition.    

Instructor of Drawing and Anatomy at Perkins Art Center | April 2023 - Present

  • Teaching students to take 3-D forms and translate them into a 2-D graphic language

  • Helping with organizing one’s thought processes to create a multi-layered drawing  

  • Navigating and managing a variety of personalities to help each student to maximize their ability to learn.      


Instructor of Introduction to Sculpture | Spring 2014

  • Led a semester-long course on Introduction to Sculpture, covering various techniques and materials.

  • Mentored students in their creative processes and provided technical support.

  • Conducted critiques and evaluations of student projects, offering valuable insights for improvement.
